The working principle of the adsorption dryer
Adsorption dryers achieve the drying effect by"pressure change"(pressure swing adsorptionprinciple). Because the ability of the air to hold water vapor is inversely proportional to the pressure, a part of the dried air (called regeneration gas) is decompressed and expanded to atmospheric pressure, and this pressure change makes the expanding air drier, and then allows it to flow through the desiccant layer to be regenerated (that is, the drying tower that has absorbed enough water vapor) without air flow, and the dry regeneration gas sucks out the water in the desiccant and takes it out of the dryerto achieve the purpose of dehumidification. The two towers work in a circular cycle, without heat source, and continuously provide dry compressed air to the user's air system.
The form of an adsorption dryer
According to the regeneration method of adsorbent, it can be mainly divided into two types: heatless regeneration micro-heat regeneration dryer and thermal regeneration micro-heat regenerationdryer. Because the heatless micro-heat regeneration dryer works according to isothermal adsorption, it is also known as"pressure swingadsorption"and the thermal micro-heat regeneration dryer is the work of isobaric adsorption, also known as"variable temperature adsorption". In actual use, there is also a kind called micro-heat dryer, from the form, the micro-thermal regenerative dryer is also to heat the regenerated gas, but because the regenerated gas it uses is dry air with very low water content itself, it also belongs to the"pressure swing adsorption"dryer
